Pilates begins with establishing a good foundation of core abdominal stability and back strength. Pilates promotes flexibility and strength with stretching and balance to improve posture, reduce tension and assist in injury prevention.
Exercise Prescription and Physiotherapy is proud to offer Pilates instructors to lead classes. With closely supervised sessions there is a strong emphasis on correct technique and safe movements.
Our beginner level Pilates classes provide overall conditioning for the mind and body and are available to any age group, male or female.
Pilates is also apart of our women’s health program, which comprises of increased awareness, pelvic floor and back exercises, pre and postnatal routines and the physical effects of pregnancy and childbirth.
